NEW/RECOMMENDED SITES

CIRCA Art Magazine (http://www.recirca.com)

"Irish and international contemporary visual culture" — CIRCA is Ireland's leading art magazine. Features columns and news, as well as Irish-language articles.

Graham Knuttel Official Website (www.knuttel.com)

One of Ireland's most famous and successful painters, Graham Knuttel apparently enjoys worldwide celebrity status and is a favorite among many Hollywood elite, including Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwartzenegger and Whoopi Goldberg. I must admit though— I'd never heard of him myself (I'm just not in the know I guess) but I did see and enjoy the movie Excalibur, multiple times, for which he was designer of specialist props. That much said, this site features loads of info on Knuttel's work, a gallery from which you can buy stuff (of course!) and superb graphic design.

Irish Museum of Modern Art (www.modernart.ie)

"Ireland's leading institution for the collection and presesentation of modern and contemporary art." Launched in Spring of 1999, this site features information on IMMA's programs, exhibitions, and collections.
