Clients include: Joy of Ireland, Society of American Archivists (SAA), Kelly BevWay Systems Co., the Shubert Theatre, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Terra Museum of American Art.

Accomplishments include:

  • The Joy of Ireland — lead designer on e-commerce project (in development)
  • The Society of American Archivists (SAA) — redesign of bimonthly newsletter, Archival Outlook; redesign of SAA Web site and implementation of improved technical features, such as an Atomz.com search engine, form-to-email features, and Javascript rollovers; design of book covers, directories, publication catalogs, and brochures; contributed to overall improvement of visual media;
  • Kelly BevWay Systems Co. — sole designer/technical consultant on Web site

TOM GREENSFELDER DESIGN — Chicago, IL; January 1995-February 1998

Assistant graphic designer/apprentice to owner of independent design studio. Duties included creative input and production work on various projects (e.g., advertising, book and calendar design, newsletters, CDs, annual reports, signage, logos and letterhead, brochures).

Managing editor, writer and graphic designer for Irish-language journal.

Accomplishments include:

  • Drafted and submitted grant proposal to the Illinois Humanities Council in 1996, resulting in the award of a $2000 seed grant;
  • Conceived and implemented innovative broadsheet design, including original logo and cover artwork;
  • Created design template and Web graphics for online version, which includes RealAudio language lessons, links and resources—still in development.
